Awesome 9 hole course. Everyone in the pro shop spoke English, very friendly and helpful. We rented clubs for the day and they were BRAND NEW Calloway clubs. Book your reservation online and you can reserve your clubs right there. Great experience. Highly recommend if you want to get in a quick 9 holes, great conditions, and not have to worry about the quality of the clubs you are renting.

Wir spielen immer wieder sehr gerne auf diesem Platz! Super Restaurant mit einem herrlichen Blick, freundlicher Empfang, nettes Personal und ein kollegialer Marshall. Es passt für einfach alles!

Interessanter Golfplatz und nettes Clubpersonal. Abschlagszeiten leider zu viele, so dass lange Wartezeiten entstehen.

It’s only 9 holes, but you play it twice at different tees. Carts are over priced and the courses are mediocre at best. Massive line at the turn. Greens are extremely inconsistent. Extremely overpriced. Cost 107 euros for 18 and a cart. Should be around 40 for 18 and a cart at most. Very disappointing. Response: Javea is 40 euros and it's a better course. La Sella is around 100 for 18 holes a cart which is one of the best. They have 27 holes. Your rates are not competitive. 18 holes and a cart should not be 107 at your course. You have a pretty entrance and that is it.

Netter Club mit 9 nicht allzu schwer spielenden Bahnen. Ziemliches auf und ab auf teils engen Fairways, was das Spiel aber auch interessant macht. Der Platzzustand war gut, wir hatten eine schöne Runde. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der Mega freundliche Empfang im Pro Shop bei der Anmeldung. Das war ein 5-Sterne Service.

Had a lovely 9 holes with my 13 year old son (handicap 20, he loved the course) and two great Spanish gents. We had a mix up with booking, which was probably my fault, the gentleman in the pro shop sorted it out for us, no issues and was extremely understanding, considering my lack of Spanish. Stunning golf course that is hidden in a small valley, we booked the offer with a buggy, good value. Staff very friendly and hire clubs were superb. We'll be bck in Oct.

Preis/Leistung ist nach meiner Ansicht ok. Rezeption sehr nett, das war’s dann aber auch. Ich habe meine Runde an Loch 4 abgebrochen, weil sich 2 ältere Herren (Mitglieder) einfach meiner Runde angeschlossen haben und einer der Herren mich ständig belehren wollte. Hätte ich Unterricht gesucht, hätte ich diesen gebucht. Noch dazu spielten die Herren nur Bälle die Ihnen gefallen haben, sonst wurden einfach noch 2 Bälle gespielt, oder der Ball wurde zurecht gelegt. Fazit: Was nützt einem ein toller Platz, wenn man Mitglieder ohne jegliche Etikette hat. Es gibt andere tolle Plätze im Umkreis - diesen werde ich nicht nochmal besuchen!

En los tees puedes perder la bola. El.campo muy bien cuidado... Es un campo en cuesta casi todos los hoyos.

Excellent fun had today. The pro shop staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, I’d read some reviews criticising previous interactions but they couldn’t have been more welcoming. The course is technical - but in very good condition. As it is enclosed you do have to be a bit careful not to go ‘too big’ to avoid damaging surrounding houses but that probably says more about my golf skills than the course 😀 As said by another reviewer I was concerned about the 9 hole *2 nature but it did feel different enough, and the course quietened down over the day. Lovely beer on the veranda afterwards. There is a short driving course and putting green to warm up, and there is a locker room/changing room too. Highly recommend a visit. Thank you.

Leuke baan met veel hoogteverschillen. Greens zijn redelijk, maar niet snel. Fairways zijn niet overal goed gemaaid. Aardige mensen. Drivingrange is niet best. 5 afslagplaatsen en een schuin aflopend stuk grasveld met wat bomen. Dat kan beter! Biertje na afloop was prima. Mooi restaurant.

Voy desde hace 2 años y pagaba 45€, ahora de repente me dicen que ha subido a 60, ese precio no lo vale esas instalaciones en las que hemos tenido casi año y medio una de las dos maquinas de correr sin funcionar, el mantenimiento de las máquinas es terrible, semanas para arreglar algo, no os lo recomiendo en absoluto,pésima gestión,ahí lo único que buscan es que contrates monitores, un saludo

Did not realise only a 9 hole course. Booked from 9 and was told had to go off back 9 ie different tee box, for no apparent reason. One is slotting in with people coming round for the second time. The first hole is covered in balls from practice area. The greens are in poor condition. There was a wait at every hole. The holes are surrounded by houses so the views limited. Would not recommend.

First time playing 9 holes this morning and loved it. The ladies behind the desk are superb, very friendly and helpful. Worried initially as it was 9 holes, but the way they change the driving positions on the back 9 means it’s completely different par when you play the same holes on the back 9. However, atm there is not much of a change due to preparation of course. It is hilly, so some might need a buggy. Lovely surrounding area, engulfed in cliff face at times. Very happy to join for a month at a reasonable price.

A nice layout but very poor tees fairways and greens were very patchy . Nice club house and free towels Would not recommend it there a better course around.

Some lovely holes, but up close, not kept in very good condition. I believe the fees are steep, so more green staff should be hired. Lovely big clubhouse where pro shop and bar staff were top class.

Pro-shop= fantastic Marshal/starter = happy with 5+ hours rounds:( not so fantastic Course good condition Greens - under renovation- because the need to be fixed. Looked worse than they actually were. Expect a slow round, + 5 hours.

The good: decent layout, great pro shop, bunkers well maintained, good prices, lovely and helpful staff, good locker room. The bad: driving range is terrible (can only use irons), a million divets on fairway and greens, greens were in deplorable condition, no cooler or club scrubber on the buggies, no seed grain to fill in divots. Only 9 holes. Overall it’s a good place to play once and a while but certainly wouldn’t make it my home course

Played here yesterday for the 1st time whilst holidaying in Calpe. I was a bit unsure as it's only a 9 hole course but you play off different tees on the back nine which does make a difference, some holes became par 4's instead of par 3's and vice versa. Also there are 2 par 5's so it really was a good variety of holes. Some stunning views framed the holes with mountains and also sea views on some holes. We hired clubs and they were a set of Callaway warbirds which were better than I expected and perfectly usable. I am a member of a good course back in England and play off 7 handicap and I thought the course here in Altea was in good condition generally, the greens didn't look amazing but to be fair they rolled a lot better than they looked. Tee boxes and fairways were well maintained. The lady in the pro shop spoke perfect English and was very friendly and welcoming to us. I'm hoping to go and play 1 more round before we go home so I think that says it all.

Clubhouse was nice. I didn’t eat but the foid served looked very nice. Didn't enjoy the golf course - condition of the tee boxes and fairways was average at best and thought the greens were quite poor. Some pretty holes but the layout didn't flow particularly well and not enough difference in the tees for the "back 9". Won't be rushing back

Wir waren am Samstag im Golf-Restaurant „Jacaranda“ zum Mittagessen. Der Golfplatz liegt in einer Urbanisation und das Gebäude hat 3 Etagen. Das Restaurant befindet sich auf der 1 Etage. Vom Parkplatz ( sehr klein und eng) kommt man mit dem Aufzug ins Restaurant. Was einem direkt auffällt, ist die Athmosphäre und der Stil des Restaurant. Wir haben das Tagesmenue für 24,50€ pro Person gewählt. 4 Gänge! Es war ein Augen- und Gaumenschmaus. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Toller Blick auf den Golfplatz.

When we arrived at the golf course for lunch, we were aggressively approached by a person who introduced himself as the president of the golf course because we were improperly parked. Other vehicles were parked forbidden, not understood we turned around and went to play and have lunch at the Finestrat golf course which is much more welcoming, clean and super well maintained, I would be ashamed in the place of this so-called president.

I have recently been on holiday and got brought a round of 18 at this magnificent course! I have a handicap of 13 and like a challenge, greens are very well kept and the course is in good condition!!! Unfortunately the people behind us were very inconsiderate meaning this disturbed my round but i wouldn't rate the golf course down because of this...I really enjoyed my round and will be returning in the future! Thank you to the greensmen for keeping the course looking great :)

Top plek om 9 holes te lopen. Je kan er 18 holes lopen maar dan via dezelfde 9 holes, andere afslag plek. Nadien zit je heerlijk en met een view na te genieten van een biertje en een Indisch hapje in het restaurant van jacaranda. Aanrader.

Nice course, but not really an 18 hole. You do 9 twice just from different tees. It became very crowded.

Un lugar precioso

Leuk om een keer te spelen, maar het was niet in topconditie. De driving range en andere oefenfaciliteiten waren allemaal gesloten wegens onderhoud, wat natuurlijk af en toe moet gebeuren. Echter, het onderhoud in de baan was wat mij bereft meer nodig. Het gras op de teeboxes was even hoog als het gras van de rough en de fairway. De greens rolden matig, met veel onkruid tussen het gras. Er zaten leuke holes tussen, maar ik vond het geen top baan.

Restaurante con comida mediterránea, situado en altea la vella dentro del club de golf , el restaurante jacaranda cuenta con salón interior y exterior cubierto y al aire libre . Las vistas maravillosas , es un sitio con encanto . Personal muy agradable . Se pueden celebrar bodas , nosotros nos casamos allí , totalmente recomendable , siempre con eventos y fiestas variadas . Los dueños siempre agradables y muy amigables

Lovely up and down hill course, not the easiest one the first time you play. Even though it's a nine hole course, with the different tee boxes on front and the back, you have a different approach.

Nice course design. Very friendly staff at the reception. Greens: 4.5/5, fairways 2.5/5, teeboxes 3/5. Two teeboxes were closed for renovation. The main downside was the pace of play, especially in the afternoon. I started at 1 pm and followed a group of 3 guys and the pace was OK. When I got back to tee 1 to start the back nine, there were 8 people there. I played hole 1 and then returned to the club house. All in all positive.

El Altea Club de Golf es un club con mucho encanto. Dispone de unas instalaciones que están muy bien para la iniciación al golf, con su instructor de golf Juan Carlos, que es un grandísimo profesional y tiene una paciencia de oro. Dispone también de un fabuloso restaurante, el Jacaranda, donde podrás probar riquísimos platos mediterráneos y también dispone de un apartado de comida Indú espectacular. Si también quieres hacer otros deportes, el club tiene un fitness center muy acogedor, donde ofrecen clases colectivas o entrenamiento personal.

Tres beau golf. Le neuf trous est en fait un 18 trous puisque les departs sont décalés. Le restaurant est imbattable tant au niveau qualité qu'au niveau prix. Moins de 20 euros pour un repas 3 plats d'excellente qualité avec un accueil impeccable. Bravo.

9-holes baan. Behoorlijk geaccidenteerd, waardoor je kan werken aan dat deel van je golfspel. Bedenk of je een buggy wil gebruiken: zeker in de zomer aan te raden - al was het maar voor de schaduw. Geniet na afloop ook op het mooie terras of in het goede restaurant.

Beste 9 holes golfbaan in Spanje en terecht! Spectaculaire uitzichten op de bergen en de zee. Veel hoogteverschillen en goed onderhouden. Het restaurant heeft het mooiste uitzicht van de regio en het eten is uitmuntend! Mag je niet missen.

Tolle Anlage - sehr gepflegt - super Ausblick- klasse Kurs (hier und da sehr Anspruchsvoll). Warum 4 Sterne.... wir hätten gerne 4,5 gegeben, geht ja leider nicht... Abzüge sind kleiner Natur... die Putting Area könnte etwas Zuneigung gebrauchen, die Range ist an sich klein aber gut, leider verhauen einige Spieler die Bälle so, das sie einem auf Bahn 1 hier und da mal um die Ohren fliegen (hätte ich aber aktuell keine Idee/Lösung ggf. ein Netz(?)). Auf Bahn 3, tolles Dogleg nach rechts - mal über eine Glocke oder ein Signallicht nachdenken, damit man weiß wann es weiter gehen kann, hier staut es sich gerne. Over all, ein toller Platz, unbedingt spielen, alle sehr sehr freundlich, Marshalls sind klasse und die Gastro ein Träumchen.... wir kommen zu 1000% wieder.... wenn die ein zwei Kleinigkeiten überdacht werden gibt es dann gerne 5 Sterne + :-)

First time playing Altea Club de Golf. My husband and I chose to use trollies....i would suggest to get a buggy as it was lots of hill walking 😊. The scenery is fantastic. It is very challenging for a 9 hole course but great to play. Highly recommended if your up for that challenge.

Da ich keine Golfspielerin bin kann ich kein Urteil über den Golfplatz abgeben. Aber er liegt wunderbar und wenn man im Restaurant Jacaranda sitzt wird mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf diesem Golfplatz belohnt.

Es un campo muy bonito con una magnificas vistas al mar. Puedes hacer 9 hoyos o 18.Y donde puedes practicar en el campo de bolas, recibir clases por horas con un profesor profesional. Con un bonito restaurante. Soy un enamorado del Golf.

This golf course is a real challenge and before Covid there was always a great welcome in the bar restaurant, they are trying really hard under difficult circumstances.

This is a picturesque golf course with all the usual amenities. The course is maintained to a very high standard. The clubhouse, bar and restaurant are ideally located so that you can enjoy fantastic views of the golf course. There is a lift, which provides easy access for golfers and their clubs. The bar and restaurant is stylish and has a relaxed feel. There is a lovely terrace where you can sit and enjoy the view, the sun and the food 🍴🍕🍔 and drink 🍻 🍷 👍👍👍👍

Ist ein 9-Loch Platz; Mitglieder sind fast alles holländische Rentner, die teils mit 3 Bällen spielen. Fairways in teilweise gutem, andernorts aber miserablem Zustand. Kein Rabatt trotz Sandung und Airifizierung... Preis/Leitung nicht zufriedenstellend - da spielt man für wenige Euros mehr hundert mal lieber Villaitana, Font del Llop oder eine der andern zahlreichen richtigen 18-Loch-Plätze! Nicht zu empfehlen.

Beautiful hilly course!

A lovely picturesque golf course. Only 9 holes but they have different tee positions for the back nine. The club house is very nice with a new restaurant and terrace area.

Awful. Course not kept well at all. Only 9 holes (18 jus plays same 9 again) there was standing water on every green (had rained the day before) but made for a waste of time putting. Pretty uninspiring holes and very poorly kept. Very expensive, 9 holes cost €30 and rental set still €25 for only 9 holes and given putting wasn't an option, was very poor value.

Was pas bezand, is nog duidelijk te zien. Zijn wel heel erg veel trappen. Electra was uitgevallen, geen werkende lift en geen koffie.

Uitdagende, maar ook ruim opgezette baan. Goed onderhouden. Kleine drivingrange. Vriendelijke mensen, idem bediening. Jammer van al die trappen.

Hola gente del Golf.... tanto mi mujer como yo pasamos cinco jornadas recibiendo clases de Juan Carlos en este precioso campo .....solo deciros que nuestra experiencia no pudo ser mejor ni más aprovechada y todo gracias a Juan Carlos que se tomó las clases con tanta profesionalidad que no tenemos más que palabras de agradecimiento y al que consideramos ya como un amigo... Gracias por exigirnos tanto para luego darnos el doble...sabes que volveremos, sencillamente porque te lo curraste y te lo mereces....ahhhh y suerte con la lotería...los palos van de cine ..Ali y Ángel.

Great venue for private parties with outside bar & terraces with beautiful mood lights & music. Other things on offer are petanque, Pilates & fully equipped air conditioned Fitness Centre.

Nice setting golf course over priced as you would expect if you like Mickey mouse golf it's ok other than that not worth the money

Sehr schöner 9-Lochplatz. Aber viel zu teuer. Für den Preis kann man z.B. in Benidorm auf dem Kurzplatz 18 Loch spielen.

Perfecto para principiantes

Great holiday golf with some holes that will challenge even the lowest handicaps. Booked online. Very good value for money. Greens were really quick and the course was in very good condition. Small but perfectly adequate practise range right next to the clubhouse. A joy to walk only 20 yards to the first tee rather than drive half a mile in a buggy. Staff in clubhouse very professional but friendly too. Played the course twice and wouldn't hesitate to return next time I'm in the area. Thank you to all who made me welcome.

Situado en un lugar privilegiado. Buena armonía. Gente cercana que te hacen la estancia en el Club como si fueras parte del Staff. Tengo pendiente un curso de iniciacion que hare sin duda en este Club. Gracias Pablo y a todo el equipo que compone este gran lugar.

Kein vernünftiges Restaurant, für nach der Runde.Nur ein Behelf, man sitzt wie in einer Bahnhofsvorhalle im Durchzug.

Me gustó mucho el campo, muy técnico, para ser de nueve hoyos , al ser tees distintos cambia mucho, volveré.

Algunos de los socios deberían expulsarlos del campo, nada más llegar un señor que dudo que lo sea empezó a darnos voces todo por supuesto en inglés y le dije sin dar voces y en castellano por favor, después de un rato volvió con otro diciendo que habíamos aparcado más el coche que lo pusiéramos cuatro dedos más dentro, hay que estar ..., bueno respecto al campo decir que es bonito, la pena es que solo tiene nueve hoyos, por lo demás bien es recomendable coger coche y hacer un curso de inglés.

Club de golf que cuenta con 9 hoyos. Recorrido técnico ya que está rodeado por una urbanización y apenas hay escapatoria a los lados de la calle. La cafetería tiene unas vistas espectaculares

Él campo bien cuidado, diversión asegurada, en mi caso 4 mayores y dos nietos, el que mejor que se lo paso , el de más edad. En cuanto a la comida, no pudieron ser más atentos y agradables, vamos que salimos todos a gusto atención y casi una comida personalizada. Él precio justo a menos que se pidan muchas bebidas, esto lo encarece

Mooie 9-holes baan waarbij je 18-holes loopt met 2 verschillende afslag posities. 1e 9 vanaf geel en rood, 2e 9 vanaf wit en blauw. Baan goed onderhouden, greens te snel voor wat wij Hollanders gewend zijn. Voor het eindresultaat dramatisch. Maar al met al mag dat de pret niet drukken. Receptie uit de kunst, de Nederlanders sprekende dame dacht goed met ons mee.

Хорошее поле для тренировок. 9 луночное. Вторые 9 лунок играются с других ТИ, что изменяет расстояние до Грина. Поэтому интереснее, чем просто 9-ка.

Food presentation and quality are excellent

Love this course. The holes are very different which makes the round interesting and exciting. I never get bored playing at Don Cayo. And the restaurant on is top notch - perfect to sit and admire the view while eating excellent food. Highly recommend it
